RARE Vintage 60's Vogue Couturier Design SIMONETTA of Italy 2 Piece Suit

Here we have the perfect suit for Fall, a rare 1960's SIMONETTA of Italy in a heavier woven tweed.

I found the original pattern for this suit, it's from a 1965 Vogue Couturier pattern, design #1466.
(I've seen the pattern alone priced at $75!)

The Suit comes with a chic one-piece sleeveless dress and a matching double-breasted waist jacket. The colors are taupe brown and turquoise green. The fabric is fantastic, almost feels like carpet or upholstery.

The dress has a bias-cut and is fully lined. It zips up the back with a loose waistcoat effect in the front that creates a two-piece look. The half belt controls with a slight ease at the back. It has a cute kick pleat too.

The Dress Measures 36" bust, 30" drop waist (narrows to 26" right above) 38" hips and

Jacket is double-breasted with 6 pearly brown buttons. The lining is a beautiful turquoise green, soft cotton.

It measures 16" shoulder to shoulder, 19" armpit to armpit, 35" waist, 21" sleeve length (falls right above the wrist) and 20" long, perfect for boots!

The suit is in pristine condition with natural characteristics built into the fabric.
