Vintage 70's Huge Shell Hanging Planter

This is the best shell hanger for many reasons.

FIRST off, these are the worst photos, the hanger is all one color! I have no idea how I managed to capture such a radical contrast. I actually had to go back and look at it and make sure I wasn't seeing things. So it's not white, it's the beige color. Pic #1 is the true color. I'll take better photos and get them up asap.

With that said, it's been around since the 70's. It's been mine for 20 years and I have loved it. It measures 48" long and has a huge planter area for a plant or whatever else..

I used it for practical purposes too, one time by lining the planter with linen napkins, I was able to serve a hundred hot rolls in it. True story

You can easily put a light or colored lights inside the planter and it perfectly lights up your area.

It's an amazing design and a real example of the time that goes into making shell art of this statue.

It's never fallen down since I've had it, it's sturdy. But a couple of the single strands on the sides need replaced. After all, those strands hold it all together and I've never done maintenance on them. (I might have the shell strands to add 1 extra strand.)
