Vintage 80's Handmade Purple Striped Satin Vest, Mardi Gras, Gangster, Gatsby

This is a one-of-a-kind cool vest from the 1980's, it belong to a renowned Portland musician.
It has 7 knotted hook buttons (they are showing a bit of wear and may need tightening up) up the front and two front pockets, half in black, half in the purple satin. The back is soft black linen/cotton. It measures laying flat 21" armpit to armpit with a boxy cut and 23" long.
The vest is in very good vintage condition, shows min wear.
It should fit a man's size 40 but anyone can wear it, it could even attend a wedding.
