Rare Pair of Signed Vintage 40's Mexican Art Chalkware Candle Holder, Bookends

Here's a really cool pair of vintage chalkware candle holders and /or bookends.

The details in these pieces I just love. Also the wonderful colors that were used.

You can fit a small candle in the bucket next to the cowboy, or use for a tooth-pick holder.

The condition of the two pieces, over-all are good, especially for old chalkware. I've usually lost their heads by now.

They have tiny paint chips that could easily be touched-up, but no other cracks or chips seem to be problematic. One is signed, the other might be too.

*You can see in the pic where the hat had a crack through it that has been repaired by gluing.

The cowboy is 6" tall and 5" long. The villa is 7" long.
